Minor League

The Minor League mode is the basic Flick Home Run game mode. To unlock other modes, you have to complete the Minor League first. The Minor League mode includes 15 steps you must beat in order to lock the Major League mode. When you start playing flick home run minor league you’ll notice a blue health bar on the top of your screen.

The health bar is what keeps you alive during this mode, when all your health depletes, you lose. To gain more health you must bat balls the furthest you can, and make incredible home runs. And if you wanna beat Minor League you’re gonna have to!

Another important aspect in the Minor League, is the points you earn. These points translate into experience at the end of each game set, and with this experience you can acquire skills, such as more power to your bat, better precision or batting eye. You get additional points in the Minor League by hitting the balloons (50 points each) and the cars you smash (first car is 100, then 50 each).

To beat the Minor League mode, you have to be really really good at flick home run. The game is very challenging, and not a walk in the park, unlike many other iPhone apps. To beat this mode, you have to achieve two big millstones. One is reaching step 6, making the evening fall upon the baseball field, and introducing the evil green ball which is harder to hit. On top of that, when the night sets, it is a little bit harder to bat, so you’ll eventually require more bat precision. The second millstone you have to face is in step 12, and that’s where total darkness sets on the baseball field, making the balls harder to bat and introducing even more harder balls to the flick home run balls arsenal. Luckily, in step 12 the balloons you will become somewhat dependent on will turn into stars, giving you even more points!
