Baseball is played by two teams who alternate defense and offense, each team compose of nine players which is under the direction of a manager. The game is played on an enclosed field in accordance with Baseball rules under jurisdiction of one or more referees. The objective of each team is to score more runs than the opponent to win, duh!

There are two types of fields in Baseball rules which includes the infield and outfield. Infield refers to the part of the field closest to the bases while the outfield refers to the grassy farther reaches.

Regarding its bases, it must be 90 feet apart on the diamond closer in children’s league and softball. Other fields are variable or the amount of ground that borders the field between the long white lines that connect first base to home plate and third base to home plate which varies from field to field.

Every competitive sport involves equipments to take and handle. In Baseball rules, it is very important to wear and use the following equipments. The offense uses a bat, made of wood for professional level and likely made of metal or aluminum for amateur level. The defense must wear baseball gloves for catching the ball. Of course you need to have a baseball which is a white ball approximately 3 inches in diameter along with red stitching.

Baseball rules have specific positioning of players. The pitcher is positioned in the middle of the mound who will be the one to throw the ball towards the home plate. There is a catcher who catches the ball if it is not hit. Infielders are the first, second, shortstop (between second and third base) and third baseman. Outfielders are comprised of three: the left, right and center fielder.

The ball is alive when the referee calls ‘Play’. When the referee calls of ‘Time’, it suspends the game and the ball is dead.

On offense, the game starts when a batter hits the ball into the field. The batter runs to the first base and can run as much as he could without getting out. If a batter got three strikes, then he is out. However, if there are four balls, the batter is automatically allowed to go to first base. A batter is considered as a runner if he started to run and attempt to reach a base. Defenders must avoid runners through putting them out with the use of the ball. In case the batter hits the ball over the outfield fence, then it’s a home run and has the chance to run the four bases.

In order to pull out an offensive player, defensive players can do the following: strikeouts where the hitter misses 3 pitches; force outs by catching the ball and reaches the base before the runner; Fly outs when a defensive player caught the hit ball in the air before the ball hits the ground and Tag outs when a runner is touched with the ball or a glove with the ball in it.

These are basic rules of Baseball, although they don’t apply to Flick Home Run game, there’s no harm in knowing a little bit of extra now is there? Play safely and win it simply!

Each upgrade is expensive, as it takes a lot of time accumulating high scores, especially in the Minor Mode, so choose the skill you wanna work on carefully, because the next time an upgrade is possible isn’t anytime soon. Moreover, there are 50 levels as to each upgrade, fifty being the maximum and off course you start at 0.

Flick Home Run Skills:

Contact – This skill represents your batter’s accuracy. Upgrade this skill to enhance the precision of your batter and to improve his aiming. What this does is basically allows you to flick the ball in the exact angle you want it to be. Low Contact means the ball will “roughly” fly in the designated area, but if you want better results, this is your key.

Power -A very basic and necessary skill. Accuracy aside, you need your balls to have a lot of air-time. By improving Power, you give Boost to your batting, which in results produce much further home runs. The difference between a batter with 8 Power to a batter with 9 power can be a home run instead of an epic fail. Keep that in mind!

Batting Eye -Especially useful for beginners, but is somewhat irrelevant in small numbers. With this skill you can have a sneak peek as to what the next ball is. This is very important because in late stages there are hard balls which are hard to bat, and therefore knowing their movement pattern can be the difference between a success home run and a strike out. Also, when your life bar approaches the dangerous zone, using Batting Eye is smart, because in most cases you’ll be able to bat the ball and thus gaining more experience and life to keep you in the game for longer!

Here’s a little tip – if you wanna cruise along the Minor league, make sure you upgrade Power first, at least to level 10. This will ensure your swings will yield deep home runs, which in turn lead to more points, and more Flick Home Run Skills!

Longball is another type of baseball game online. The main goal is to hit as many home runs as you can to proceed for the next round. You will be given only ten swings to do it. When you play minor league in flick homerun, you have to keep your health bar up always, and you do so by batting the balls. If you miss a ball, some health drops, but if you bat if well, you get additional health. The further your home run is, the more health and points you’ll get.

When reaching step 6, evening will set upon you, making the balls a little harder to bat, and some harder balls will begin to appear. When you reach step 12, that’s where things start to get really interesting. The night falls, making balls harder to hit, creating some stress and additional flick home run balls begin to show up (harder to bat balls).

If you need some minor league tips, here is one – you should definitely train of the special balls that start to appear on step 6 and 12. Such as the green aversive ball, and the “triple fake ball” in level 12. Beware of these two. Also, in step 12 instead of balloons, stars will appear, granting you 100 points for per instead of the regular 50.  Another minor league  tip is – aim for the stars! they will grant additional health bar bonus!

To effectively bat a fast ball, you need to do three simple things.

1. You must be focused and alert
2. You must place your index finger in the left down area of the screen.
3. You must wait for the ball to slightly cross the dotted line, and bat it with a 45-50 angle with high velocity.

Another important thing you can do, is use eagle eye every once in a while. Fast balls usually they you way off guard, because they are well… Fast. Other flick home run balls aren’t even remotely close to the fast ball speed, and also accelerate fast or thrown at funny angle. Therefore you must stay focused at all times, and eagle eye your way to a successful batting!

Minor League Help Tips:

1. Don’t try to flick the ball until it crosses the white-dotted line. If you do, you will immediately fail!
2. Pay close attention to the curve and movement of the ball, bat it according to what ball type you predict it to be.
3. Upgrade the power skill first, so you can make further home runs.
4. Next, upgrade the Accuracy skill, so you bat will become more precised.
5. Keep your eagle eye’s available in case your health bar starts to decline into the danger zone.
6. Don’t give up. Minor league is hard, but you never played flick home run until you reached the Major league mode.
