Baseball Diary
We all know flick homerun for iPhone is a virtual game that gives us the experience of playing baseball in a lively way. But could it be that playing flick home run is actually better than playing real baseball? There is no simple answer to this question, as every one of us can answer something different, instead, i wanna address the widespread trend that appears at least, in my life.
Imagine this – you and a bunch of friends are sitting down after school, deciding what to do in the afternoon. All kinds of suggestions comes up and then suddenly everyone agrees, let’s play basketball today! But what time should we play at? After several moments of debate everyone agrees again, to meet up on 4 in the afternoon. Before we disperse however, one of my closest friends asked “yo guys, anyone has a spare remote? mine’s broke”. That’s right, they meant playing basketball in PS3, sheesh.
This so called trend, is happening all across the world, and more and more people become a part of it. People just rather play sports on game consoles, rather than actually playing them in real life. While playing sports and other games on consoles such as playstation or xbox can be fun (especially flick homerun), i believe one shouldn’t prefer them over the real thing – playing baseball in real life!
So what if its harder physically, or harder to organize a game? Playing sports in real life has many advantages over the alternative. For starts, you get to keep in shape, and also meet new friends. It’s also healthy, and you get to secrete some adrenalin, which we all need from time to time. Therefore i say, when you have enough people, and the weather is good go out there and live a little! You’d be surprise to know how fun it is playing baseball with your entire body, rather then just the tip of your finger.
Don’t get me wrong here, i love playing flick home run. It is by all means my favorite iPhone game, and even more – my favorite eSport, but i believe sometimes the real thing is the “real deal”.
Do you?
